Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Align (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the company you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
2. The Service
Align is a hiring workspace that helps teams write job descriptions, collect applications, evaluate candidates against weighted requirements, compare candidates and run screening assessments on eligible plans. Features, integrations and availability may change over time. Integrations marked as coming soon are not part of the Service until released.
3. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, for the activity of the team members you invite, and for keeping your account information accurate. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You must be authorized to bind the company you sign up for.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Align lawfully and not to upload malicious files, attempt to access another company's data, resell the Service without our consent, or probe or disrupt it. You must not use Align to discriminate against candidates on the basis of any protected characteristic.
5. Hiring decisions and compliance
Align provides decision support. Scores, strengths, gaps and suggested questions are generated by AI, can be incomplete or wrong, and must be reviewed by a person. You are solely responsible for your hiring decisions, for ensuring that a human reviews them, and for complying with the employment, anti-discrimination, automated decision-making and data protection laws that apply to you. Where required, you must tell candidates that AI-assisted evaluation is used.
6. Plans, trial and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, and you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. New workspaces can start with a 14-day free trial limited to 100 candidates and 5 team seats. A payment card is required, nothing is charged during the trial, and unless you cancel before it ends, your card is charged for the plan you chose. Each plan includes a monthly candidate allowance. Optional pay-as-you-go usage is billed in blocks of 100 candidates at the rate for your plan, up to any spending limit you set. Prices are in USD and may change with notice. Refunds for partial periods are not provided unless the law requires.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you and your candidates submit. You give us a limited licence to process it only to provide the Service. For candidate data, you are the controller and we are your processor, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis, including candidate consent, for collecting it. 8. AI-generated output
AI output is provided as is. Similar inputs can produce different results, and we do not guarantee that any evaluation is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular decision.
9. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your billing settings, and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these Terms or the law. Contact us about access to or deletion of your data before closing your account, and we delete it afterwards as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MedGAN AI is established, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer or data protection rights you have.
